About us
Namysłów is a small and quiet town surrounded by meadows and forests and located in the north-west of Opole Province. That is where we live together with our Pyrenean Mountain Dog (The Great Pyrenean), called Andy, who has become a rightful member of our family. Let's start from the very beginning.
Whoever has had a dog in their life knows that the relationship between a dog and a man is one of its kind - extraordinary and unique. One is fortunate who can experience this special bond in their childhood when they can learn love, empathy and responsibility with and from their four-footed friend. In my case, it was my father who taught me how to love animals. In my early childhood we had all sorts of small pets – fish, budgies, hamsters, guinea pigs. Later on Bim appeared in our life – saved from inevitable death of starvation as evil people had tied him to a forest tree. Although he was not a pedigree dog, I found him my best friend who filled every free moment I had after school. His death was very hard to get over.

All the following dogs in our family stayed with us, so to say, temporarily. They were always stray dogs that needed help. Once we treated and fed the patient, a new home was always found. Until one day Panda entered our lives without a warning. She enchanted us with her knowing look which promised a wonderful character. Only later did we find out that Panda was a Pyrenean Mountain Dog. What was just a hunch proved to be totally true very soon. Panda was a loyal and dear companion of extraordinary intelligence. Thanks to her, we fell in love with the breed and we understood how wonderful partners Pyrenean Mountain Dogs made. After her tragic and premature death, we took a long time wondering if we should have a another dog. We were not sure if the emptiness after Panda could be filled.

That is how Andy came along and we never regretted the decision. Andy comes from the breeders Krystyna and Stanisław Bochan. There was only one condition at purchasing – the dog must take part in conformation shows. That is how, led like children by Krystyna, we were introduced to the world of cynology. Soon me and my husband were bitten by the conformation bug!
Andy gets along very well with the other residents of our household – the cats Triszka and Korek.
There were no problems, either, when the new cat, Lady, came on board with her son Waldek. All our animals live together in peace and Andy, like an elder brother, lets the other ones lick out his bowl. Our home is full of animals and full of love for animals. We are especially proud of Andy who does very well at shows.
When looking after our animals, we receive a lot of support from a family friend, Andrzej Mały, working in the vet clinic in Kalisz.
